This 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari will take you to UNESCO Biosphere Reserve   located in the western Region of Uganda commonly known as the” melody of wonder” just like the name states you will glimpse different wonderful things while on your trip. It is one of the most popular tourist’s destinations   in Uganda known of its diverse wildlife and stunning scenery. The park is a home to over 600 bird species and over 95 mammal species for example grey crowned crane, saddle- billed stork, yellow billed stork, fish eagle, African swimmer, Uganda kob, water buck, Nile crocodile, warthog, lions, Tree climbing Lions, African Buffalo among others. A home to over 10 crater lakes including the katwe explosions, Bunyarunguru craters and Ndali-kasenda crater field. These were centuries formed due to volcanic activity and they are on different shores. The awesome view of the enormous craters and the Rift valley escarpment will leave you amazed with different spots of unique plants, wildlife resting on the shores.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via

Your day 1 of your 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari will start by  meeting our company driver guide who will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Masaka- Mbarara- Bushenyi road. Your journey to the melody of wonders will begin with a first stop over at the equator in kayabwe masaka.  The equator is an imaginary line that divides the earth in to two equal parts the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. It is located at zero degrees’ latitude, and it passes through 13 countries in Africa including Uganda. You will experience an interesting scientific phenomena and the Coriolis effect and witness how water swirls in different directions and visit the craft shops which are locally made. You will have a cup of coffee at the equator and then proceed to Igongo cultural center where lunch will be served. You will check in at the hotel ,freshen and relax at the hotel, dinner will be served at 8pm.

Facts about Queen Elizabeth National Park.

 Day 2 : Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise at kazinga channel.

After early morning breakfast at the lodge you will go for a game drive which is a great way to see the park’s diverse wildlife the park is a home to over 600 bird species and 95 mammals and some of the birds and animals which you are like to see that morning include warthog, buffalos, lions, elephants, hippos, tree climbing lions, crocodile, kobs, grey crowned crane, saddle-billed stork, fish eagle and among others you will have a great view of animals and the beautiful scenery of the park. After the game drive you will go back at the lodge and rest, lunch will be served at 1pm and then head to kazinga channel boat cruise. Kazinga channel boat cruise is another great way to see wildlife in the park. The kazinga channel is a 32-kilometer long channel that connects lake Edward and lake George. The channel is home to large population of hippos and crocodiles.  You are also likely to see elephants, buffaloes and a variety of bird species on the boat cruise. After your boat cruise you will go back at the lodge relax and prepare for diner at 8pm and conclude your day 2 of 3 Day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari

Day 3: A visit to the crater lakes and transfer to Kampala.

After having breakfast at the lodge you will have a crater lake drive in the park.  The park has over 10 crater lakes and these were formed by volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. The craters are now filled with water and they provide a habitat for a variety of wildlife including birds, hippos and crocodiles. These crater lakes are a unique and beautiful feature of Queen Elizabeth National park they offer a variety of activities for visitors and they are a great place to see the wildlife of Uganda.
