How to access Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park can be accessed by either air or road transport means. By road, you drive from Entebbe town or Kampala southwards through Mpigi, Masaka, Mbarara, or Kabale or through Ntungamo to Kanungu District, covering about 8-10 hours depending on the sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park you would wish to track from.
By air, you will take your flight from either Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield and then fly to either Kihihi Airstrip in the northern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Kisoro Airstrip in Kisoro town in the southern part of the park.

How to access Mgahinga National Park
The park can be accessed using both air transport and road transport means. By road you drive from Kampala southwards through Mpigi, Masaka, Mbarara, and Kabale to Kisoro town, and after you connect to the park, it’s about a 9-10 hour drive.
By air you board from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield and fly to Kisoro Airstrip in about 1:15, then connect to the park by road.
