Top Tourist Activities in Kidepo National Park: Kidepo Valley National Park is an amazing tourism destination in Uganda, known for its remoteness and unspoiled landscapes. It’s situated in the northern corner of the semi-arid Karamoja region, bordering Kenya and South Sudan.   It’s one of the most unexplored savannah parks in Uganda due to its distance. It’s about 700 kilometers from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, and guests can access the park by air transport or road transport. It’s one of the largest parks in the country, covering an area of about 1,442 square kilometers and it was designated as a park in 1962 after Uganda gained its independence.

Kidepo is home to over 80 mammal species, including the big four mammals: elephants, lions, buffalo, and leopards.
