The minimum age for participating in the canopy walk is 6 years. Cost of Canopy Walk in Nyungwe Forest.

To participate in the canopy walk experience at Rwanda’s Nyungwe Forest National Park, you must obtain a permit that verifies your full payment for the activity. The cost for the canopy walk is as follows: $60 for foreign non-residents, $50 for foreign residents, and $10 for East African Community (EAC) citizens. Please note that these fees do not include the entrance fee for Nyungwe Forest National Park.

Best time to visit Nyungwe Forest National Park.

The canopy walk experience in Rwanda can be enjoyed year-round; however, the best time to experience it is during the dry season, commonly referred to as peak season. This period runs from June to September and again from December to February. During these months, there is minimal to no rainfall, which makes the hiking trails dry and more accessible, providing an extraordinary experience in the forest.
