The rainbow formed by the thundering falls is legendary and mystic; it is the watery mist that spices the everlasting battle between water and rocks. Visitors can view the falls by either hiking to the top of the falls or enjoying a boat cruise to the base of the falls. The top of the falls provides scenic views of the Nile as it forces its way through rocks, and a boat cruise to the base of the falls allows visitors to embrace the power of nature fully.

Best Time to Visit the Park.

Murchison Falls National Park can be visited at any time of the year; however, there are months that are better than others. The dry months, which run from December to February and June to September, are considered to be the best time to visit the park, during these months, there is little to no rainfall, making it easy to penetrate the park. The vegetation cover is short and scattered, with clear views of animals. Visitors can also visit the park during the run season, which runs from March to May and October to November. During this period, the park receives enough rainfall, making the game trucks slippery and muddy. The vegetation cover is tall, creating unclear views of the wildlife species.
