Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most rewarding bird watching destinations in East Africa, celebrated for its unique bird species. It’s found in the northern part of Tanzania, bordering Serengeti National Park to the southeast. It is home to more than 550 bird species, including water birds, savannah birds, migratory birds, and endemic species which are rare to find anywhere else. The diverse birdlife is supported by the presence of different ecosystems which provide habitats to various bird species, including savannah grasslands, woodlands, wetlands, highlands and tropical rainforests.
