Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After a short briefing in the morning at your hotel in Arusha, which will be the pickup point, you will head off in the direction of the Tarangire National Park. The park, with its vibrant savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and scenic lagoons, is home to huge elephant herds. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River, and you should see a selection of mammals ranging from bushbucks, giraffes, and hartebeests to the weird-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. The park is also hosts buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then, but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, you will arrive and check in at the lodge.

Day 2: Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti national Park
After breakfast, you will drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park, which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. For adventure, you will briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater. Additionally, you will visit people from the Maasai tribe. This is optional to visit and explore the culture of the great Maasai warriors, known for chasing lions of their kill and hunting lions to be considered a warrior, drinking raw animal blood. Though these traditions are a thing of the past, except for drinking blood, you can surely learn something that is rarely found in other parts of the world.
This is an optional visit: Later in the late afternoon, you will do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti) until late evening, and experience the sunset in Serengeti national Park while having a close view of wild animals, lucky enough to see a predator hunting or on a kill.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early hearty breakfast, you will go on an early morning game drive, seeing a lot of animals till afternoon, when you will head to the lodge for lunch and pack, and then resume a game drive. After, you will exit the Serengeti heading to the lodge (3 hours’ drive) and near the Ngorongoro gate.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will descend the crater on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest to spot in this beautiful crater, as most animals will be easier to spot from this park due to it being a floor crater.
After lunch, you will do a game drive, get to the crater to the camp, and pack for the trip to Arusha at your hotel. This marks the end of your 4-Day Tanzania Private Lodge Wildlife Safari
