Volcanoes National Park is one of the top bird watching destinations in Rwanda, attracting thousands of birders to explore the park’s rich avian life. It’s found in the northwestern corner of the country within the Albertine Rift region. It has a mix of unique natural systems, such as bamboo forests, grasslands, montane forests and Afro-alpine vegetation, which provide habitats to various bird species.
