When to visit the Park
The park can be visited throughout the year; however, some months are more condusive with better experiences than others. However, the best time for wildlife safaris in Kidepo Valley National Park is during the dry season which runs from September to mid- March due to its semi-arid type of climate.

Game drives operate from 6 am to 6 pm, and tourists outside the park must leave by 6 pm. Feeding wildlife and making noise is not allowed, and tourists must stay in their vehicles for safety. Smoking is also prohibited in the park.
What is the best time to do game drives while in Kidepo valley national park
Early morning game drives allow you to see active predators before they get back to their hideouts. These game drives last between 3 to 4 hours and start before sunrise.
