Activities to do in Lake Mburo National Park are experiences that visitors take part in during their trip to the park. Lake Mburo National Park is one of the most visited national parks in Uganda, known for its rich biodiversity. It’s situated in the western part of Uganda, and it’s one of the smallest national parks in the country, covering an area of about 370 square kilometers. It was gazetted as a national park in 1983 to protect the wild animals and bird species that existed at that time. It has a diverse ecosystem, such as forests, wetlands, lakes, acacia woodlands, and savannah grasslands, that provides habitats to various birds and wildlife species. Lake Mburo National Park is home to over 68 mammal species like elephants, elands, zebras, leopards, 340 bird species, including forest birds, water birds, forest birds, migratory birds and the acacia dwelling bird species. It also has up to 200 butterfly species, reptiles and amphibians.  The park’s rich biodiversity contributes to its diverse activities that travellers can do while on their safaris, such as bird watching, game drives, boat cruises, nature walks and horse riding.
