You can book a 4-day birdwatching tour in Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda, at any time of the year. However, the best times for bird watching are from March to May and September to November. From June to September, many birds are attracted by abundant fruit and are in breeding plumage, providing a great experience. From November to April, you can see migratory birds. Day 1: Arrival and Bird Botanical gardens in Entebbe

On arrival, you will get a warm welcome from our company representative for a briefing and after you will get transferred to your booked hotel. After drive to bird Entebbe Botanical Gardens to see birds like; Crowned Hornbill, African Open-billed Stork, Malachite Kingfisher, Egyptian Goose, Wood Sandpiper, the Spur-winged Lapwing, Madagascar Bee-eater, Vieillot’ Black Weaver, Ruff, Gull-billed Tern, White-winged Tern, Little and Tooro Olive Greenbuls, Long-tailed Sterling among others. You may also spot several primates and different species of butterflies.

Day 2: Bird watching in Kibale Forest National Park

Have breakfast and drive to Kibale Forest National Park for a forest birding tour in Uganda. Kibale has about 70 mammal species and 13 primate species, including a large population of chimpanzees. Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and Birding in Bigodi Wetland

Wake up early for coffee and drive to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking. During this activity, you’ll see various birds and butterflies. Spend an hour with a family of chimps, observing their behaviors and how they swing in trees. After this, return to your lodge for a hot lunch and refreshments. In the evening, explore Bigodi wetland to see numerous bird species, including White-tailed Ant-thrush, Brown-backed Scrub-robin, Black Bishop, White-breasted Negro finch, White-spotted Flufftail, grey parrot, yellow bill, Hairy-breasted Barbet, brown eared woodpecker, bronze sunbird, black-crowned waxbill, Western Nicator, Grey-winged Robin-chat, swamp flycatcher, yellow-spotted barbet, and grey parrot, among others.

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe
