This 4- Day wildlife safari to Kidepo Valley National Park takes you on a unique experience in a true African wilderness. It is one of the least explored national parks in Uganda, but it is the best park for wildlife experience with untouched savannah grassland, unique wild animals and mountains. Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe airport / any hotel in Kampala – Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park

Our company driver guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe after having an early breakfast or from Entebbe International Airport on your arrival. You will meet and greet, and later be briefed about your 4-day wildlife safari to Kidepo National Park, and then start your road drive to Kidepo. The drive will take you through Luwero triangle with an en-route stop at Gulu town to have refreshments, lunch and then proceed with your drive to the park. On your arrival at the park, drive straight to check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive to Narus Valley – Visit Karamojong communities

After having a hearty breakfast at the lodge, you will go for an early morning game drive to the Narus valley. Narus Valley comprises a grassland plain and distant mountains and is the permanent water supply to the park’s mammals. So, the area has good game drive tracks to explore numerous wildlife species such as Jackson’s hartebeest, Lions, Caped buffaloes, Oribis, Rothschild giraffe, cheetahs, and the Ostriches. After your half-day game drive to Narus valley, return to your lodge to have refreshments, lunch and then go for your evening visit to the Manyatta communities of the Karamojong tribe. The Karamojong people are nomadic pastoralists living in uniquely constructed houses called manyattas that are designed in an African style. A visit to Karamojong communities will expose you to much about their culture, art and crafts and entertainment using their traditional sound equipment, traditional songs and dances, which will give you a breathtaking feeling. Day 3: Morning game drive and hot spring – visit to the Ik People

Your day 3 of 4- Day wildlife safari to Kidepo National Park will start with a hearty breakfast, and head for another morning game drive to search more wildlife species such as huge Elephants, herds of buffaloes, many 17 antelope species, Caracals, Zebras, Bush pig, Black backed jackal, Bat eared fox, African hunting dog, Lions and may encounter Leopards. Later, visit the famous Hot springs which is a glorious place to take a memorial. Then visit the Ike people, some of the most isolated people in Uganda, and the visit to Ik people will be charity work. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Drive back to Entebbe International Park or Kampala city

On this day, you will rise up early in the morning to enjoy your breakfast and then start your drive back to Entebbe International Airport to end your 4- Day wildlife safari to Kidepo National Park with Caracal Explorers. You will have an en-route stop to have lunch.
