Important Information about Reptile Filming
All foreign non-resident film crew are required to clear with Uganda immigration department on arrival at Entebbe international airport if they wish to come with their filming equipment. The process may take long to get endorsed by the government of Uganda however, you may send your kit list prior to arrival for your reptile filming tour with Caracal Explorers; and we then get in touch with our clearing agent for evaluation. Once we establish the total cost of clearing your equipment with the authorities, we advise you to pay in advance and our agent will be waiting for you at the immigration for further assistance.
Foreign journalists and film crews need approval and credit from the Uganda Media Council to get Media Cards. Our team can help secure these cards within 3-4 working days if you follow our instructions. We will send a form to fill out and return via email. The filming crew must also provide two passport photos and a passport copy. Media card fees increase for those filming longer than a month.
