What is the best time to do budget gorilla trekking safaris in Bwindi

Affordable gorilla trekking safaris in Bwindi can be done throughout the year, although some months are better than others. The rainy season is the best time to have budget gorilla trekking safaris in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park because during these months, there are huge discounts on lodging facilities in almost all the sectors of the park. Budget travelers should note that during the wet season, which occurs from March to May and October to November, there is plenty of rainfall and this makes the trekking muddy and slippery; the vegetation is tall and thick with unclear views of the gorillas; and the roads leading to the park are in poor conditions, although with our 4×4 extended land cruiser and experienced drivers, this becomes a myth.

Travellers on a budget still have a chance to visit Bwindi in the dry season, which occurs in the months of June to September and December to February. In the dry season, there is intermittent rainfall, where trekking trails are dry with thin and dispersed vegetation along with good views of the gorillas and other park animals. The roads to the park are always dry, and this makes them easily accessible.
