This 3 Days Jinja and Sipi Falls Family Safari takes you to the source of the Nile in Jinja and Sipi falls in Mbale where you will engage in different activities to see and explore the unique beauty of Uganda the “Pearl of Africa”. In Jinja, you will take part in the exciting boat cruise activity which shall take you to the source of the Nile while in Sipi you will be able to hike to the spectacular falls. The trails to the captivating water falls offer hikers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the thrilling landscapes.
Day 1, Kampala – Travel to Jinja – boat trip to the source of the Nile- Travel to Sipi
Today you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and then start your journey to Jinja. While there you will have a boat cruise to the source of the Nile. The source of the Nile is the official starting point of the longest and probably most famous river in the world. The tour begins at the lakeside Jinja Sailing Club and ends at the Bourbon Bar and Grill. It lasts about an hour. After exploring the source of the Nile, you will board your vehicle and begin the journey to Sipi. You will have lunch in on the way and travel to the village of Sipi, located between beautiful hills and waterfalls. You will have dinner and spend the night in one of the lodges adjacent to Sipi Falls.

Day 2, Morning Hike to Sipi Falls and Relaxation
Your day 2 of 3-Days Jinja and Sipi Falls Family Safari will start with a hearty breakfast and head to the beautiful landscapes to Sipi Falls, one of the hidden gems of Uganda. The Sipi Falls area is one of the starting points for many hikes along the Sasa Trail. The hike around the falls offers magnificent panoramic views of the Karamoja plains, Lake Kyoga and the slopes of Mount Elgon. Sipi Falls are a series of 3 falls of 100, 85 and 75 meters respectively with a total of 7 km to see them all. The hike can last 4 hours. Sightseeing and cave exploration is done at the base of Sipi Falls. Below the waterfalls are cool old caves with many beautiful views. This is the best place to take memorable photos for your Mount Elgon National Park safari. You will enjoy the stunning views of the falls as the Sipi River descends from Mount Elgon. You will be able to take photos of the falls and later in the afternoon you will relax at the lodge.

Day 3. Travel to Kampala
On this day, you will wake up at your convenient time and start your journey back to Kampala with a stopover for Lunch along the way. This concludes your 3-Days Jinja and Sipi Falls Family Safari with Caracal Explorers.
