5 Days Zebra and Lion Safari Experience in Uganda

Wake up early, have your breakfast and head to Lake Mburo National Park. Enroute, you will have a stop over at the equator landmark for a water demonstration where the forces of movement divide the earth into two hemispheres before proceeding with your journey to the park. Upon reaching the park, you will be welcomed by the highlights of several browsers such as the zebras, impalas, elands, topis, jackals, buffalos and giraffes and many others. Check in into your booked hotel and later in the evening go for an evening game drive to search for the stunning wildlife dominated by zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, topis, elands, warthogs and leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and an over night stay.

Begin with an early breakfast and then drive to the second largest national park in Uganda, Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a wide range of wildlife species including the famous tree climbing lions and big game mammals such as elephants, buffaloes, and leopards among others. In the Ishasha section of the park you may spot these famous tree climbing lions resting or climbing tree branches, an experience that is found only in Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park, Tanzania’s Lake Manyara and Kruger National Park in South Africa. Later you will drive to the lodge for check-in and have an overnight stay at your booked lodge.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the northern part of the park (Kasenyi plains), where you will see several wildlife species such as lions, elephants, leopards, hippos, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks and several water birds. After, retire have your packed breakfast and then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon you will go on a boat safari on the Kazinga channel where you will see several land mammals like elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, and bird species like Yellow- billed Stork, Fish Eagle, Saddle-billed Stork, African Skimmer, African Darter and many others. Other water species to see include, the Nile crocodiles, hippos and monitor lizards among others. After this experience, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Following a leisurely breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala, making stopovers for scenic views of the landscape such as natural land forms like crater lakes, Kyambura gorge and dotted savannah grasslands. The trip to Kampala is lengthy, but filled with fun, since you will see lots of communities and adorable kids waving and grinning at you along the way.  You will have lunch enroute at Igongo cultural centre in Mbarara, arriving late in the evening for relaxation. Have dinner and overnight at your hotel

After breakfast at your own leisure, bid fare well to the pearl of Africa by checking out and get transferred by your driver guide to Entebbe International Airport to meet your return flight. This is the end of your 5 days Zebra and Lion Safari Experience in Uganda.
