Day 1: Murchison Falls National Park-Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Top of the falls tour
Get up early, have your breakfast, and get ready for your designated safari driving guide to pick you up. Drive northwest along Bombo Highway to Murchison Falls National Park, which is about 320 km from Kampala. Along the way, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, located in Nakasongola district, home to Uganda’s rhinos. Here you will have a chance to see rhinos in their natural habitat, up close to their feet, which provides you with an unforgettable experience. This rhino sanctuary was established in 2005 to aid the reintroduction of Ugandan rhinos, which had reached extinction in both Murchison Falls National Park and Kidepo Valley National Park due to poaching and political unrest of the 1970s. You will spend at most one hour with them while taking as many photos as you want not to miss great moments. Seeing rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary will complete your Big 5 game checklist. After this rhino experience, retire for lunch; after, head to Murchison Falls National Park, the source of happiness for nature enthusiasts. Visit the Murchison falls, to enjoy the breathtaking views and great sound of the falls as the river squeezes its self into a 7-meter gorge and then drops 43 meters into a pool that creates a lovely thunderous sound. After this fun, head across the Nile to the park’s northern section to check into your reserved lodge, rest, and then enjoy the evening and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park—Return to Entebbe International Airport
Wake up early in the morning around 6:00am, have a quick cup of coffee with a snack to warm your body, get your packed breakfast, and embark on your morning game drive safari. This early start is a better time to get introduced to several wildlife species, including nocturnal animals and rare predators such as lions, leopards, jackals, civet cats, spotted hyenas, and others. Other animals to see include elephants, Rothschild giraffes, warthogs, waterbucks, topis, Uganda kobs, among others. Have a short break for refreshment as you enjoy your full breakfast and proceed with your game safari for several wildlife species until noontime. After your game drive, return back to your lodge for relaxation, have lunch, and embark on the afternoon boat cruise on the mighty Nile River. The boat cruise will take you close to several wildlife species, like hippos, Nile crocodiles, and some other land mammals such as buffalo, elephants, waterbucks, and several bird species such as African skimmer, Egyptian Goose, Fish Eagle, African Darter and many others. Take as many photos as possible not to miss out on this amazing moment. Return to your lodge for a free evening until its time for dinner and have an overnight stay.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park—Kampala/Entebbe
Get up early on your final day of your 3-day Murchison Falls wildlife safari, prepare and load up your safari vehicle with all your belongings. Rise up early, have all your travel bags loaded into your safari vehicle, and take your breakfast. After breakfast, set out for a final game drive in the park to see some more wildlife species that you may have missed. These include members of the Big Five, like the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and other big game mammals such as hippos, giraffes, primates, and antelopes, before setting off to Kampala, where you will arrive late in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at the Entebbe International Airport for your return flight or at your hotel.
