Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport and drive to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our company representative for your drive to Volcanoes National Park. During the journey to Ruhengeri, enjoy the stunning hilly landscapes that earn Rwanda its nickname, the “land of a thousand hills.” The hills’ beautiful arrangement and lush greenery will provide a scenic experience. You will have dinner and spend the night at your reserved lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking tour, evening cultural entertainment
Wake up very early, have breakfast and prepare for the day since encountering gorillas in their natural habitat is a highlight of the tourism industry in the 21st century. Visitors should expect an exciting and captivating experience during this gorilla trek, lasting 2-6 hours, often in the jungle where you will encounter several wildlife species such as forest elephants, primates and bird species, among others. Upon seeing these mountain gorillas, the trek is very rewarding because you will have a chance to have a close encounter with the mountain gorillas for an hour as you study their behavior. After this experience, relax and have lunch. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Kigali International Airport.
Get up at leisure and have your breakfast, then get transferred to the Kigali city tour if time allows. Finally, your safari driver will transfer you to Kigali International Airport to meet your return flight. This marks the end of your 3-day mountain gorilla encounter in Rwanda.
