On arrival at Kigali International Airport, or at the hotel after your hearty breakfast in the morning, your safari driver guide will be waiting for you, to welcome and brief you about your 2-day gorilla trekking adventure before and then get transferred to the magical Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is situated in southwestern Uganda. The journey will take you about 5 to 6 hours across Chanika or Katuna orders, you will stop in Kabale or Kisoro towns for lunch and refreshments before checking into your reserved lodge, relax, have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Mountain gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Return to Kigali Airport/hotel in Kigali City
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, have a packed lunch and snacks. Then, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on how gorilla trekking is conducted. After that, begin your eagerly anticipated forest walk in search of mountain gorillas in their natural environment. Expect to see other mammals and other wildlife as you go through the forest trails such as forest elephants, bush pigs, forest hogs, duikers, olive baboons and several bird species among others. In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, there is a 95% chance of seeing mountain gorillas.
After meeting them, you will spend an hour observing and tracking their behaviours, such as feeding, nursing, and how they care for their babies. Make use of your camera so as not to miss out on this memorable experience by taking as many photos and videos as you may wish.
