Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport- Get transferred to your booked hotel in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will receive a warm welcome from our company representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel, refresh and after meet your safari driver guide for the briefing about your 10-day of Uganda Wildlife, Culture and Adventure safari. Later, if time allows, you will visit Entebbe Botanical Gardens for scenic beauty since it’s located along the Lake Victoria Shores, Africa’s Largest freshwater Lake. The gardens are home to several bird species such as Lesser Jacana, African Jacana, Grey Heron, African Fish Eagle, African Grey Parrot, Long-tailed Cormorant, Ross’s and Great Blue Turaco and primates like vervet monkeys. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Entebbe City- Visit Ziwa Rhino sanctuary- Top of the Falls
The morning begins with breakfast and a drive to Murchison Falls National Park in northwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola district for a white rhino tracking experience. The sanctuary was established in 2005 to reintroduce white rhinos to Uganda’s wildlife inventory. During the rhino tracking, you can see them close to their feet with a local site guide and take as many photos as you want. After the rhino tracking, you can relax and have lunch at Kabalega dinner.
The next day, you will visit Murchison Falls National Park, where you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the falls and the river Nile’s thunderous sound. After visiting the falls, drive to your booked lodge relax and prepare for a night game drive safari. Murchison Falls National Park is home to 76 recorded mammal species, including Jackson’s hartebeest, Waterbucks, Hippopotamuses, Nile crocodiles, primates like Chimpanzees, Olive baboons, Black and white colobus monkeys, Giraffes, Uganda kobs, Elephants, Caped Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, Spotted hyenas, Civets, Warthogs, Oribis, Topis, and 450 recorded bird species. Have dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: Morning game drive-Afternoon Boat Cruise- Evening relaxation
Rise up early to have your breakfast and head out for a morning game drive where you will spot several wildlife species such as lions, spotted hyenas, giraffes, warthogs, elephants, Jackson hartebeest, topis, Uganda kobs and many others. Other animals to see include the secretive leopard, primates, hippos, waterbucks, oribis and several others. Take a short break to enjoy your full break fast breakfast and after resume your game drive to spot several wildlife species. Return to the lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon head for the boat cruise on the Nile Delta up to the base of the falls, a scenic view that will leave you in awe. Along the water way, you will see several water and land mammals such as hippos, elephants, waterbucks and crocodiles with several bird species like Egyptian Goose, Kingfishers, African Fish Eagle, Pelicans, African Darter, Fish Eagle and many other species. Retire and return to the lodge and spend your night while relaxing, have dinner and an over night stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park-Transfer to Kibale Forest -Bigodi Sanctuary and Community visit
The day begins with breakfast and a drive through the Nile River to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its large chimpanzee population and Africa’s primate capital. The park is home to 13 primate species and East Africa’s largest population of the L’hoest’s monkey and red colobus monkeys. Visitors can see various primates, including black-and-white colobus, blue monkeys, red-tailed olive baboons, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and over 375 bird species. After lunch, the journey continues to Fort Portal City, where guests can enjoy the stunning views of tea estates, forests, and the legendary Rwenzori Mountain Ranges. The next day, guests will drive to Bigodi Swamp for a nature walk and community experience. The swamp is managed by the local community, preserving the area for future generations. After the walk, guests will return to their lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Kibale Forest National Park-Chimpanzee Trekking- Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Visit Katwe
After breakfast, you meet your safari guide and transfer to the park information offices for a briefing on chimpanzees and their behavior. You embark on a guided forest walk to search for intelligent chimpanzees, sharing 98.8% of human DNA. You may encounter other wildlife species, including primates and bush pigs. After spending an hour with chimpanzees, you return to the starting point for lunch and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife. Visit the Katwe community, known for salt mining since the 16th century, and participate in their salt mining activities. After the community tour, you’ll check into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Forest- Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, guests will visit the Kalinzu forest Reserve head office for pre-touring briefings and a site guide. They will embark on a second chimpanzee tracking safari, encountering a variety of flora and fauna species. After an hour with chimpanzees, guests will return to their lodge for lunch and relaxation. They will then embark on a boat cruise safari along the Kazinga Channel, a must-do activity in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The cruise will bring guests close to mammals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and water birds. After the cruise, guests will return to their lodge for an evening of relaxation and dinner.

Day 7: Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park- Tree climbing lions-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
The itinerary includes a morning game drive safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, a popular Ugandan national park, and a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The safari includes a visit to Kasenyi Plains, where you can spot wildlife species like the big five African savannah mammals, antelope species, and primates. After the safari, you’ll continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, known for its ancient rainforest and home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. The park is home to around 500 mountain gorillas, 120 mammal species, numerous primate species, and over 350 bird species.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Drive to Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning, prepare for mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park by preparing necessary equipment, dressing appropriately, and having a breakfast. Meet your safari guide and be briefed about the park’s regulations. Be allocated a mountain gorilla family to track, UWA ranger, and forest guide. Hire a porter for assistance. After the pre-mountain gorilla trekking session, start your forest walk to search for the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitats. The time taken to encounter the family is unknown, but it may take 45 to 4 hours. Carry enough water and snacks to stay hydrated and energy-dense. Spend one hour with the mountain gorilla family, capture photos and record videos, and return to the starting point to receive a certificate for conservation. Enjoy refreshments and lunch before driving to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi Boat canoeing-transfer to Lake Mburo National Park-Evening Night game drive
Rise up at your leisure, have breakfast and go for a morning boat canoeing adventure safari on Lake Bunyonyi. Its a magical lake with 29 islands, each with its own unique story. Akampene Island, also known as the “punishment island,” was used by the Biga community to punish girls who got pregnant before official marriage. This was done to teach them not to make the same mistake again. After canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi, you’ll head to Lake Mburo National Park, a rich heritage site with the history, traditions, and lifestyle of the Ankole people. The park offers evening and night game drives, spotting wildlife like zebras, impalas, elands, topis, antelopes, warthogs, cape buffaloes, and giraffes. The night game drive safari offers a chance to see nocturnal mammals like spotted hyenas, leopards, civets, African rock pythons, porcupines, and bush babies. Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest savannah protected area in Uganda, with 350 recorded bird species, 68 mammal species, and 13 small lakes.

Day 10: Horse riding in lake Mburo and Return to Entebbe International Airport
After your break fast on your last day of 10-day Uganda wildlife culture and adventure safari, have breakfast and after you will go for a morning jungle horseback riding safari in Lake Mburo National Park, where visitors can view wildlife on a nature walk while riding a horse. The safari offers a peaceful experience without leaving footprints or causing noise or air pollution. After breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your return flight. You will have a stop over at the Uganda equator line in Kayabwe, which separates the planet into Northern and Southern hemispheres. The water experiment at the equator showcases how forces move differently on each side of the planet, proving the difference between the two hemispheres. After lunch, visit craft shops to buy souvenirs designed in Ugandan local art. Later, proceed with your journey to Entebbe International Airport.
