How to access Kaniyo Pabidi in Budongo Forest
On the route to Murchison Falls National Park, northwest of Kampala, Kaniyo Pabidi is situated in the southern portion of the Murchison Falls Conservation Area, in the center of the Budongo Forest Reserve. Travel north on the Kampala-Gulu Highway to Nakasongola, then continue on to Masindi town to get to Kaniyo Pabidi. Cross Kichumbanyobo Gate, head towards Murchison Falls National Park on Pakwarch Road, and then follow the signs to Budongo Forest. Off to the right on the main road through the park to Paraa is a sign indicating the location. Regretfully, there is no direct public transportation to Kaniyo Pabidi. As an alternative, you can go from Paraa to Kaniyo Pabidi by crossing the new bridge that leads to Budongo Forest at the summit of the Falls and Sambiya River Lodge.
